Weiwei is the Founder and main Wedding Consultant of Chère: Weddings & Events, a leading wedding and party planning business in Singapore.

Weiwei holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a major in marketing from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Even before Weiwei graduated from NUS, she already had Chère registered as a business. That was in 2009 and since then she has planned more than a hundred weddings big and small.

Constantly exploring and breaking boundaries has been the challenge that Weiwei strives to engage in. At Chère, the importance of personalization in each and every wedding and party is highly valued. Her team’s mission is to deliver quality service to the couples and walk through this personalised journey with them. Project Superstar Champion, Alfred Sim and local singer-song writer, Tay Kewei’s high profile wedding was conceptualised and coordinated by Chère.

Chère has been featured on numerous platforms and media such as Singapore Tatler, Her World Brides, Style: Weddings, and more.

Serving as the Director of Chere, Weiwei also teaches at the Institute of Certified Wedding Planners, where she trains and guides the hopeful planners looking to enter the wedding industry. Weiwei is also a certified wedding planner under the Institute of Certified Wedding Planners.
